Best. Journal. Ever. (period.)
The Best. Journal. Ever. (period.) is a mindfulness journal that helps ADHD brains track focus, energy, and self-care through each phase of the menstrual cycle — with gentle structure, zero pressure, and space to honor your natural rhythms.
Here’s why I made this journal…
There were days my brain screamed, “You can’t do anything right!” — and I believed it. I thought I was failing at focus, motivation, or creativity for no reason.
Then I started noticing a pattern. It wasn’t me — it was where I was in my cycle. My energy, attention, and mood naturally shift throughout the month, and no planner or tracker ever made space for that.
I made this journal because I don’t want anyone else to feel broken on those days. You’re not. This is your gentle space to notice patterns, reflect, and give yourself permission to ebb and flow.
I hope this helps you as much as it’s helped me.
What’s Inside
Each section of the Best. Journal. Ever. (period.) is designed to help you understand and support your brain and body — one phase at a time.
• Cycle phase overviews — simple, ADHD-friendly explanations of what’s happening in your body and brain
• Reflection prompts — quick questions to help you notice patterns and shifts in mood, energy, or focus
• Self-care ideas — realistic, low-pressure suggestions for each phase
• Free journaling space — no boxes, no guilt, just room to write or doodle
How to Use It
There’s no “right” way to use this journal.
You can start today, in any phase, and use it as:
• A daily reflection for mindfulness and focus
• A monthly check-in to spot patterns
• A creative tool to plan work, art, or rest in sync with your cycle
Even a few minutes of awareness can change how you move through your month.
Gentle Guidance, Zero Pressure
This isn’t about optimizing or hacking your cycle.
It’s about understanding it and giving yourself permission to ebb and flow.
Every page invites you to pause, notice, and reconnect with what your body and brain actually need.
