Phase 1: Brand Guide Development

Colors: Kim Roach (Elements Hair Studio Owner) knew she wanted blues and black as her brand colors. After reviewing the color palette options she was drawn to, KMC created this palette.

Fonts: Knowing Kim was going for an elevated logo reflective of the service she provides and the locale of her business (Fairfield County, CT), KMC provided several options for Kim to choose from. After picking the elegant & welcoming font that ultimately made up the Elements logo, a complimentary serif font was chosen as the primary brand font.

Logo Design: With a calming color palette and a blend of elegant script and clean sans-serif fonts, KMC designed the Elements Hair Studio logo to capture both sophistication and warmth. Katie wanted a look that felt stylish yet welcoming, so the flowing handwritten type paired with a soft blue background became the perfect fit. After finalizing the main horizontal logo, KMC also created variations—including a stacked option and an inverse version—so Elements Hair Studio has flexibility for everything from signage to social media while keeping a cohesive, polished brand identity.

Official Brand Guide: Once the colors, fonts, and logos are complete, it’s time to package them together into the brand’s official Brand Guide.

Phase 2: Website Development

KMC helped revamp Elements Hair Studio’s website to reflect the level of service and sophistication the salon provides.
